Artwork/Design Internship

We are currently looking for an artwork/design intern to assist with graphics production for our luxury        e-commerce platform.

The internship will:

• Be 3 or 4 days a week, 9-5.30 pm, for 2-3 months (days a week and length of placement negotiable) starting as soon as possible
• Pay Expenses (£8 per day)
• Be based in our main studio in central Liverpool.

The internship is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the design/artwork side of a luxury fashion e-Commerce site.

We are looking for someone with a design background but with strong artworking and image retouching skills, either currently in University or a graduate.  

We are looking for an intern that is:

• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc)
• Competent at image retouching
• Preferably with an interest in photography and fashion
• Be able to work on their own laptop

 Main duties will include:

Cleaning images 

Cleaning and retouching product and model images and uploading to a live site.  Cleaning includes the removal of pins, fishing wire, etc in product shots, correcting colours, cleaning up shadows and backgrounds and general image adjustment.  Applicants need to have very strong photo retouching skills for this as the images cleaned will need to be totally accurate to the actual products and applicants must be able to work quickly and efficiently given a deadline.

Marketing

As part of our marketing campaign, applicants would be expected to design and produce images given a specific brief to be used across all social media platforms. 

Website design and production

Applicants would be expected to produce homepage and magazine designs to a high level for our e-commerce site, given a specific brief and timescale under the direction of our head graphics department. 

Other duties may include producing booklets, emailers, store-window designs and images for press.
